EVENTS FOR WEEKEND 13-15 APRIL
On Saturday, April 14, we recommend visiting the historic Main Railway Station with a guide. This is a unique place, which after a general renovation in 2010-2012 regained its former splendor. During this walk you will get to know the fascinating history of the station, see the biggest "treasures" and hidden rooms and you'll meet amazing secrets unknown to everyone ... All active Ladies can run in a Women's Run for healthy breasts on Sunday morning. The route counts 5 km through the charming Szczytnicki Park and it starts at the historic Centennial Hall. Gentlemen, however, we encourage you to cheer for hot! :)
Do you like horse racing? Therefore you can't miss the inaugural opening of the racing season at the Partynice horse track in Wroclaw! On Sunday a wide range of attractions awaits for visitors: seven exciting races, rollerblades, picnic climate and pony riding for the little ones.
EVENTS FOR WEEKEND 20-22 APRIL
On Friday, April 20, the Musica Polonica Nova Festival starts in the National Forum of Music. The motto of this year's edition is #network, which means not only the Internet but also the network structure of the program and all fest events. We recommend an orchestral revolutions, a mini opera or an installation "mobile mural". Among the guests is composer Marcin Stańczyk and an actor - Arkadiusz Jakubik.
Between the 20th and the 22nd of April at the Centennial Hall, the 2nd Lower Silesian Bicycle Festival will take a place. The program includes bicycle fair and presentations, riding on the track for testing on various bicycles and meetings with travelers who visit different parts of our globe on their single-track vehicles.
On Sunday, April 22nd, we recommend a performance by Ewa Błaszczyk - the monodrama called "ORIANA FALLACI", as part of the 19th Festival of evident Acting Talents in Wroclaw's Agora. Start from 17.00.
EVENTS FOR WEEKEND 27-29 APRIL
From Thursday, April 26, we invite you to the 54th Jazz on the Oder Festival. This is one of the oldest jazz festivals that takes place in 1964. The festival includes concerts of outstanding jazzmen in special projects, promising artists of the young generation, American jazz giants and the grand finale, the World Day of Polish Jazz. The artistic director of the event is Leszek Możdżer - one of the most talented composers and musican! Among the artists: Marius Neset & Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, Yellowjackets and Łukasz Kokoszko Collective. The festival lasts until April 30.
If you like delicate pop sounds in a female version you should take a part in the Ania Dąbrowska concert, which will take place on Friday, 27 April in A2 Congress Center. During the concert you will be able to listen to the artist's greatest hits! The tickets are still valid. S
On the weekend of April 28-29, we would like to invite you also to the Antique Trade Fair near Iglica and Centenian Hall. It is the perfect place for all lovers of handicrafts, jewelery or old, stylish home accessories. If you are looking for an original gift for loved ones - you will certainly find something there.
APRIL WEEKENDS ON FRESH AIR
In April, after the winter break, the Wrocław Botanical Garden opened its gates. Early spring bushes and blooming flowers, an alpine garden, greenhouses with tropical vegetation of Asia, Africa and South America await visitors. On Sundays, for nature lovers, specialist walks are planned.
From April 7, the season began Gondola Bay, located by the National Museum. You will be able to rent water equipment in it - canoes and boats or take a water tram ride on the Odra river and admire Wrocław from a completely different perspective.
For a weekend walk we also recommend the Szczytnicki Park at the historic Centennial Hall, pergola and Japanese Garden, which also recently began its season. The garden is open from 9.00 to 19.00.
